Shannon Lambert

Director

Shannon grew up in the metropolitan city of El Campo, TX. Her mascot was a Ricebird, and she is just as fun-loving yet mysterious. She holds a Bachelor’s degree from Houston Baptist University and a Master of Divinity from Baylor’s Truett Seminary. Shannon came to UH in 2016 after serving as BSM director at South Plains College in Levelland, TX and College Minister at University Baptist Church in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She loves to cook, watch documentaries about things people will never ask her about, and gardening. Shannon is married Paul Lambert in 2021 and is being educated on all things computer and Star Wars.

Xuehua Dong

BSM Coordinator

Snowflower grew up in Harbin, China. Through a series of life events and the testimony of her grandmother, Snowflower started following Jesus in her teens.

She studied Accounting at Harbin Institute of Technology. Through serving in her church in China, Snowflower felt called to ministry and came to Southwestern Seminary to pursue a Masters of Arts and Christian Education. She graduated in December 2017 and came on staff thatApril. She enjoys reading, shopping, and sharing the Gospel with others.
Hannah Murray

BSM Coordinator

Hannah has been at the BSM since Spring 2020! She graduated from the University of Mary-Hardin Baylor in December of 2019 with a degree in Christian Studies! She is originally from Arlington, Texas. When she was seven years old her family moved to South Asia and lived there for twelve years. She is passionate about missions and about helping students live a life on mission for the Lord! Go Coogs!
Rogelio Cobian

BSM Coordinator

Rogelio was born in Brownsville, Texas but grew up across the border in Mexico. He frequently crossed the border, so he considers both his hometown. He recently graduated from Texas A&M University (Whoop!) where he studied Manufacturing and Mechanical Engineering Technology. . He enjoys spending time with friends and is always up to talk about Jesus! Howdy!

Hannah Golding

Campus Ministry Intern

Hannah graduated from the University of Houston in May of 2022 with a degree in American Sign Language Interpreting. She has been involved in BSM all four years of college and now is serving as a CMI. She loves to play board games, hang out with people, and love coffee. So if you ever want to go and get coffee to let her know.
Shima Burke

Ministry Assistant

Shima was born and raised in Iran. She came to the US to pursue her degree and came to follow Jesus while there through the Tech BSM. Shima graduated in 2018 from Texas Tech University in Multidisciplinary Studies concentrating on Human Development and family Studies and Women’s Studies.

She like watching movies, listening to the music and hanging out with family and friends. Shima considers herself a sociable person who loves to know new people and learn about every culture. She would love to spread the words of God and sees herself responsible since she grasped how people’s lives would be changed knowing Christ.
