Renew – Our Worship Service
Worship will return this fall
Join us in the fall semester at 7 pm in the BSM on Thursday nights.Psalm 103 is a psalm of praise.
“Praise the Lord, my soul;
all my inmost being, praise his holy name.
Praise the Lord, my soul, and forget not all his benefits—
who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases,
who redeems your life from the pit and crowns you with love and compassion,
who satisfies your desires with good things
so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.”
College is a challenging season as students are figuring out life, him/herself, and their faith. They do this while working hard to get their education. It is work, and it is hard. We worship on Thursdays at the end of the week. By this time we are weary from the work and stress of the week, but we will gather to praise God for who God is and what God has done in our lives. We want to remember how God has sustained us and forgiven us from our sins. God has crowned us with love and compassion and satisfies us. David (the psalmist) says that we do this and are renewed.
Our prayer is that, as we gather for worship, we will find all we need in Jesus and be Renewed to do all He has asked us to do.
