Shannon LambertDirector
Shannon grew up in the metropolitan city of El Campo, TX. Her mascot was a Ricebird, and she is just as fun-loving yet mysterious. She holds a Bachelor’s degree from Houston Baptist University and a Master of Divinity from Baylor’s Truett Seminary. Shannon came to UH in 2016 after serving as BSM director at South Plains College in Levelland, TX and College Minister at University Baptist Church in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She loves to cook, watch documentaries about things people will never ask her about, and gardening. Shannon is married Paul Lambert in 2021 and is being educated on all things computer and Star Wars.

Joshua Boucher
Associate Director
Joshua was raised in the small town of Dublin, TX. His family taught him many important skills related to ministry, construction, farming, and games. He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from Texas A&M University. During his time at the Aggie BSM he felt God call him to reach college students with the gospel. After graduating, he served campuses in both Texas and Oregon, then moved to Louisiana to get a Master of Divinity from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. While finishing his masters, Joshua began working for Go Now Missions, which sends Texas college students on short term mission trips. Eventually, God called him back to serving directly on a college campus so he joined the UH BSM team.

Xuehua Dong
BSM Coordinator
Snowflower grew up in Harbin, China. Through a series of life events and the testimony of her grandmother, Snowflower started following Jesus in her teens.
She studied Accounting at Harbin Institute of Technology. Through serving in her church in China, Snowflower felt called to ministry and came to Southwestern Seminary to pursue a Masters of Arts and Christian Education. She graduated in December 2017 and came on staff thatApril. She enjoys reading, shopping, and sharing the Gospel with others.

Rogelio was born in Brownsville, Texas but grew up across the border in Mexico. He frequently crossed the border, so he considers both his hometown. He recently graduated from Texas A&M University (Whoop!) where he studied Manufacturing and Mechanical Engineering Technology. . He enjoys spending time with friends and is always up to talk about Jesus! Howdy!
Hannah Golding
Hannah graduated from the University of Houston in May of 2022 with a degree in American Sign Language Interpreting. She has been involved in BSM all four years of college and now is serving as a CMI. She loves to play board games, hang out with people, and love coffee. So if you ever want to go and get coffee to let her know.
Shima Burke
Ministry Assistant
Shima was born and raised in Iran. She came to the US to pursue her degree and came to follow Jesus while there through the Tech BSM. Shima graduated in 2018 from Texas Tech University in Multidisciplinary Studies concentrating on Human Development and family Studies and Women’s Studies.
She likes watching movies, listening to the music and hanging out with family and friends. Shima considers herself a sociable person who loves to know new people and learn about every culture. She would love to spread the words of God and sees herself responsible since she grasped how people’s lives would be changed knowing Christ.

Jocelyn Galloso
Campus Missionary
Jocelyn is an energetic and loud University of Houston Alumni. She grew up in McAllen, TX, and later moved to Houston to complete her architecture degree and graduated in May 2024. She joined the UHBSM as a student in 2019 and has loved getting to know her fellow peers and going out to see Marvel movies together. She also loves singing, playing with her cat, and hanging out with friends.
Milca Zapata
Campus Missionary
Milca was born in Monterrey, Mexico but grew up in 3 locations: Mexico, Arkansas, and Houston. She graduated from the University of Houston in December 2023 with a degree in Psychology and with a minor in Human Development & Family Sciences. She joined the UH BSM back in 2021 and decided to later serve in BSM staff.
Some of her hobbies are dancing, she recently started learning breakdancing. She also loves to listen to music, swim and be social and meet new people.
